UBR or ubr ?

Have you guys seen this ubr targets? i just seen it and never heard of it before, seems i've
just skiped over it. Looks like to me to be like benchrest score shooting with a target that
does not play favorites to any caliber. i think its looks very interesting, anyone else think
it looks interesting? Or know anything about it? seems from what i seen that a fellow who had a hot shooting 22BR or even a 22/250 or something like that, could get out and shoot it againest others. or say that old BR rifle sitting in the safe that's maybe a little over weight or maybe just not competive in BR group shooting anymore might do well in this game???

I've shot two UBR matches so far and will be shooting more. It's a good platform and brings 22,6mm, and the 30's all together on a level playing field. No more excuses from the PPC crowd ;). A good shooting rifle is a good shooting rifle in this game...doesn't matter that the 30's make a bigger hole anymore. The matches are made to run smoothly and not have as much idle time, as in IBS matches. Each yardage consists of 4 targets with 6 record bulls, instead of the normal 5 targets with 5 bulls. This eliminates two full rotations for a 100-200 grand agg. Also warmups are short..3 minutes, shot on one of the first target's sighter bulls...again eliminating two more rotations for a two distance grand agg. One of the best things about it is that they have set rules for factory class and an unlimited class for anything that doesn't fall anywhere else. This seems to be garnering attention from new shooters. They don't have to build a new custom rifle to go compete. They also use the 11 point scoring system. I regularly shoot IBS VFS. The people that I shoot with are overwhelmingly in favor of this...not to replace any other shooting orgs., but as another one that has great potential to grow the sport by both bringing in new shooters with factory guns and bringing the old shooters back into the game with their 222,PPC or whatever, on a level playing field with the 30's in score shooting.--Mike Ezell

sounds really cool. im try n to get some targets to practice with and see if i can get my buddys to shoot at them, so maybe i could get them interested, yea can shoot my big monster IOR scope, had it on my deer rifle looked like a spotting scope on there.
