UBR Nationals 2021 - Boyle County Fish and Game

Probably one of the best run matches I’ve ever been too and a great bunch of guys. Congratulations to Chester and all of those who took home plaques you really accomplished something. A big thanks to Mark and all who helped him
John
Just getting ready to post the same thing!! 6 relays with about 20 shooters each match and first match with a 3 minute warmup and the first day started at 9am and finished by 3PM!!! FAST! Saturday (200 yards) started at 8am and finished about 3PM (except for plaques and prizes!), super job guys!

Anybody have the 200 yd score sheets ?

I'm really surprised the score sheets aren't common to find.

2 x' was the difference of 5th place and 21st place ! Man i bout cried at 21st place ...
Tight scores for sure.
I shot a 258 with my Unlimited ! Got 11th .. not allot of UL's if i remember correct.
You're not kidding! To put it in perspective, in UBR a 264 is a perfect score. Custom class, the top four finishers at 100 yards all shot a 263. So, one man shot 1 point away from a perfect score and that didn't even get a piece of wood! Now that's pretty dang tough! He made up for that in Unlimited by shooting a perfect 264 and another potential new record. Congrats to Terry Hollidy for that fine shooting and for winning the Grand Agg in Unlimited. I also want to congratulate Chester Bradford on TWO potential new records in Custom class for both the Grand Agg score of 518 and a 200 yard score of 257. That's phenominal in very tough conditions most of the day!

You can't compare IBS/NBRSA directly to UBR but a 257 is about like a 250-17 or 18x 200 yard score. That would be a solid 100 yard score in those conditions! Tough, challenging game, with some of the best shooters in the world.

Other winners of either a yardage or grand..or both are Hope Carleton, Danny Hensley, Troy Alexander, Mike Ezell, Wes Lyons and Brud Sheets. I hope I'm not leaving anybody out but they all deserve a big congrats as well. But as you can tell, you didn't have to win to deserve a big congrats for some fine shooting, so congrats to all the rest that placed and or shot well!

Great match, lots of good people and I'm already looking forward to next year!
