Dear all,
In a bid to reduce case neck runout after sizing, I'm looking to purchase a new sizing die. Topics similar to this seem to crop up on the forum but I can not find an answer to my specific question. Why use a FL Type S as apposed to a Neck size Type S? I cannot see the advantages of the FL, however the vast majority of people use them for precision reloading. I either neck size or use a FL custom die cut with the same reamer as the barrel (can see the advantage of this but not with a SAAMI spec die). The rifle in question is a custom long range hunting/varminting rig built on a Borden action, chambered in 243. All brass is neck turned prior to reloading. Any advice you can provide me with in regards to helping with with my purchase will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Josh.
