Two Brothers - UBR 11 4 17

I arrived at the Two Brothers range @ 6:15 this morning in pitch dark to find 7-8 shooters already there and setting up by the light of two ATVs. By 8:00 we had enough light to see through the misting rain and fog to start the match. We had nineteen warm bodies and twenty rifles competed as Garry Lawrence shot in two classes. WE had another rookie join as Barb Aldridge shot one of my rifles in Custom Class. This was her 1st centerfire competition (I'm not even sure she has shot a CF before) and she shot well in some challenging conditions. Also, Joey Gregory brought Gary Elmore for his first match. He even won everything in Factory (of course it might be because he was the only shooter in that class). Larry Moore won Unlimited for the 2nd match in a row with his new 6 BRA and his 80 gr Hillbilly bullets. We'll have to plot against him next season.

This was the last match in our area for the 2017 season. Keep in mind that Brock's Gap Training Center will be shooting the 3rd Saturday every month through the winter and there is a match at River Bend Gun Club in Dawsonville GA next Saturday.

Rick have yall figured who won Shooter of the Year ?? I know there was a lot of really good scores put up all year long..

I hope to be off IR and back with yall next spring,,is there any end of year updates with the situation at the Gallatin Gun Club ?? are you expecting to still be at Two Brothers next year??
