Both of these stocks were purchased online a while ago and recently refinished. I stripped and sanded the old finish, removed almost all of the dings with a hot steam iron and sand paper. I then applied 5 coats of TruOil worked in with 320 wet sand paper. The final finish was accomplished with Birchwood stock conditioner and paste wax, buffed to a silky smooth satin finish. There are a couple small dings and pinholes here and there which I have tried to show in the photos. There were a couple small brads visible on the muzzle end which I countersunk and filled, so these may have been repaired in previous life. I would say conservatively 90%+ condition. Probably 95%! Stock number 2 is slightly cleaner, and a deeper mahogany color. Stock number one a little lighter, warmer tone, and a couple marks near bolt recess which look worse in the photos than in real life. Both of these will dress up most 52D's I've seen.
