twist recomendation

looking to shoot from 60 to 95 grain bullets in the 6 br what twist should i be looking at? 95 grainers would be vld's.

This is covered in the FAQ. We recommend a true 1:9" twist to shoot the 95gr VLDs.

Yes there are examples of the 95s working in a 10, but you can't count on it.

With the 60s you can go with a 14-twist. But the 95s set your limit--if you really need to shoot those, go with a 9-twist or faster. Since there are so few choices in that 90-95 grain range, when you think about it, you might as well do an 8.

I have a 10 twist 6BR, an 8 twist Dasher and a nine twist .243.
The .243 nine twist will shoot the 95s and even the 107s but marginally. The 75 VMax and the 80gr Bergers gave best accuracy across a broad range of powders with IMR4350 Being the powder of choice and the Fed GMM primers. Lapua Brass.
The ten twist 6BR won't shoot the 95s but will shoot the 87 VMax but not super it does however shoot the 80gr Berger very well and the 75gr VMax, the 70 gr SBK and most 80gr match bullets very well. The 58 and 65 gr VMax shoot about the same with the 58 having the edge. Lapua Brass. CCI 450
The 8 twist Dasher shoots everything well with the 107s being the most forgiving and the 95VLD will shoot as good as you can load and shoot. The 75 VMax does not shoot as well as the 87 VMax the 70SBK does not shoot well but the 65VMax shines with about 34-35gr of H335 or 36gr of 2230 at about 3800 fps go figure the same load or slightly less on the 70SBK is not as accurate. Lapua Brass. CCI 450.
