TWIST RATE OF CUSTOM SHOP XP-100 IN 6BR?

The most 100% reliable way to know that for sure is to pop a tight patched cleaning rod into the barrel and count the turns against a ruler....

They came in twists from 14" to 8".

You have to either call them with the serial number (they keep records of every gun they make) or measure it wth a cleaning rod and patch

Called Remington, the one I am looking at has a 1 in 9 & 1/8 twist. Wonder how heavy a bullet it would stablize? 100gr?

It's still a good idea to check it with a cleaning rod.....

I had one in a 6PPC with a ten twist. It would stabilize a flat base 100 but not a boat tail. You might be able to shoot some 105s. Later! Frank

Nylon bristle brush on a cleaning rod works much better than a cleaning patch.
