twist question 6.5 130/135

ok i am researching a possible 6.5 chambering.
goal is 2800/2900 with a 130-135 bullet
ii see most 6.5 are 1/8 with lite bullets
i ran some numbers on bergers twist tool
and it looks like i can run 7to 9 twist and still be stable(1000-4000 ft elev)
what twist would you pick and what would you run from ??
no 140's in my picture

I've shot, some very "Good" groups with, Horn 123 and 130 grain, ELD-M's and, 143 ELD-X's, in a 1-8 Twist.
I'm going to "settle" on the SLIGHTLY lower, recoiling ( but, Higher BC than, 123's ) 130's for, Steel & Varmints and, the 143's for, Deer / Antelope. I will "Dial" Range for, Both loads with, MOA Turrets and, Charts using,..
a 200 Yard, Zero.

I shot my first 600 yd clean in f-class with a 6.5 wildcat based on a .308 case with a 10 twist barrel with 130 grain norma golden target bullets running about 2950 f.p.s.. I am at about 5000 ft. above sea level. If I were to go back to a 6.5, I would go with an 8 twist so I would have more options for bullets. I haven't kept up with all the 6.5 offerings but the one I used to use would be kind of like a 260 improved with a 40 degree shoulder. I am not recommending you use a 10 twist barrel, but I would not be afraid to use a 8- 9 if it were available ,to shoot 130 and lighter bullets.
