Buy the barrel to stabilize the 75`s and hope the twist AND throating on the reamer will work for the shorter bullets.

If you want to shoot 75 grain bullets, then go for the 8 twist.

I believe a 12 twist will have you covered.

A 14 twist will work if you're not interested in anything over 55 grains, but an eight twist lets you shoot the full spectrum.

I'm primarily interested in 100 - 300 yard shooting due to the limitation of range choices plus I have a friend who shots a custom 220 Swift that I'm tired of kickin' my butt at 200 yards with 55gr bullets against my 223 REM. Will the 8T give me good accuracy out to 600 yards?

I have just about shot out a 1/9 Shilen SM on my 22BR. It did such a good job with Lapua 69 gr. scenars at 200 yards I ordered another one just like it.....and another 1000 Lapua bullets...it also shoots 70 gr. Berger VLDs very well since I got the VLD stem for my Redding seater die.

Jim, mine are Hart 1/9s. They shoot 75 extremely well, but even better with 69s!
