12 twist 22br

Guys my rifle is home and all is well. I had a lawton 7500 action made into a switch barrel. 22BR and 30BR. The 22BR is a 12 twist and i am getting ready to start working some loads. I was hoping someone could steer me towards some custom bullets for the rifle. I didnt know what 22cal 52Gr bullet is on top right now. I have 25 Gentner bullets but thats it. What should i try?? I've had several 22 BR's, they all liked 52 Starke. Fortunately, I stocked up before he went out of business. I believe he sold the dies to Bart Souder, so I would start there.

My 29' full bull 1.300 dia SS SM Shilen 12tw really likes 60 gr bullets pushed by H4895. I'm a prairie rat shooter so I feed mine 60gr Vmax's and it will regularly produce .300 to .250 five shoot groups. So just for grins and to see what this rifle was truly capable of I tried some Berger 60gr M HP FB and it produced several low .2's and high .1's. So don't overlook the 60 grainers out of a 12tw. I picked up some 63gr cheek bullets on here a while back that i thought i would try. Now i need to figure out the powder. I dont have any H322. I do have some RE10x. I wonder how that would work? Anyone???? Lee

I am developing loads for 40grn ballistic tips and have good results with H335 and RL15. 24' 12 twist douglas tube.
