Twist and Barrel length for a 6.5 Creedmore in a bolt gun?

Hello Everyone:
I want to build a 6.5 Creedmore and want your input on barrel length and twist? This rifle will be setup for target/hunting so I don't think I'll go any heavier than a # 4 magnum contour fluted but really don't know what length as I was leaning towards a 26" tube and have" NO" Idea on twist so I thought I would ask ?

Thanks for your time and suggestions.

Get a 1:8" twist, that will handle bullets up to 142 grains.

My hunting rifle is a 6.5x47 with 25" 1:8" barrel, I shoot 123's out of it but could shoot heavier bullets if desired.
