Turret press ?

Does anyone use the Redding T-7 turret press? I know cocentricity is critical. So does this press do the job or not?

I have had mine for about two years now, and couldn't live without it. All the rounds come out straight - no issues. Very convenient. During match season, I can leave the 6 Dasher and 6.5-284 neck sizing dies in the turret, along with body size dies for both, and a universal decapper die.

Cheers,

Hi Bob:

Not sure what you are reloading. If you want a benchrest type turret press for short cases and possible portability, then the Harrell's is it. If you want to load a variety of calibers and case lengths my recommendation is the Lee Cast Turret. It is the most flexible, has interchangeable turrets which you never have to remove the dies from, is very strong and the concentricity is unbeatable.

Thanks for the help guys. I want to reload a number of different calibers and case sizes. The shortest being a 30 BR & up to a 308 Norma Mag. Most of what I do is hunting, but I do plan to get into some score matches, so I do want the press to produce quality.

Have used my T7 for one year now and would purchase the same unit again. Very well built. A good unit and with care should last a life time and then some.

I use the T-7, think it's great. I have an extra Turret and use a Lee Universal powder die on each, no more messing with a funnel and loading block. Love it and no play.Worth every penny in my book.

How does the Lee charging die work? Can you explain? I have never heard of it, but it sounds like a timesaver.....
