I have numerous Harrell Tuners. My preference is the solid tuner vs the Tuner/Brake combo. My gunsmith also modified one of the tuneing rings by adding an O-ring. Very stable and now much easier to quickly adjust. My HV barrels are threaded 750-32.I use a Harrell's tuner brake on all of my light gun barrels. I like them. My gunsmith does some work on them after he gets them as they are a little rough out of the box. Put it on and work up a load as usual. Get it shooting as good as you can before ever messing with the tuner. Then, move the tuner to fine tune the load. I have always been able to find a sweet spot in one rotation or less of the tuning rings.
