Tuner-Brakes

I have looked up and read about them but have never tried one, but I am about to build another rifle to shoot mid range and am going to try one and would like some input from anyone that has tried the Harrels.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Have not tried the Harrell's. Did have a RAS. They work. All tuners have a movable mass, some have some extra dampening features. Tuners are worth trying at least once so you can form your own opinions.

I use a Harrell's tuner brake on all of my light gun barrels. I like them. My gunsmith does some work on them after he gets them as they are a little rough out of the box. Put it on and work up a load as usual. Get it shooting as good as you can before ever messing with the tuner. Then, move the tuner to fine tune the load. I have always been able to find a sweet spot in one rotation or less of the tuning rings.

I have numerous Harrell Tuners. My preference is the solid tuner vs the Tuner/Brake combo. My gunsmith also modified one of the tuneing rings by adding an O-ring. Very stable and now much easier to quickly adjust. My HV barrels are threaded 750-32.
