Tumbler timer

Currently using a programable 24 hr light timer for my tumbler but would rather use something that shuts off after a specific time and stays off. If a forget to take it off auto it will restart the following day.
Any ideas?

Smart plug, program it with your phone.

You need something like this. Push the 2 hr button and walk away. That's it. Easy. Nothing to program, no instructions to forget.
Or get a little fancier with a digital display. There's a bunch of cheap options.

I use one like the botton one.

It is especially helpful if you need to run it a little bit longer.

I am glad I saw this as all I could find at Lowe’s/Home Depot used pins or something similarly aggravating and not what I wanted. This will work great for tumblers and my case dryer.

edited to add I like the digital readout, at my age bigger numbers/letters are much more useful than they were a few decades ago. LOL

I'm old school. I have one of those timers that have the round rotating dial that you place little cogs in, to trip the on/off switch. These were used for activating a lamp or something in the house while you were away, on and then off at that same time daily. I plug my vibratory tumbler into that, turn it on, and rotate the timer wheel to where the "off" cog leaves about 4 hours of run time. I have removed the cog that turns it back on, so once it's off, it's off. The timer keeps rotating, but with no little cog to click the "on" switch, it just stays off.
Works for me.

I bought a Bn-link countdown timer on Amazon. I was warned by Dillon after a new motor upgrade that it should not be run for over 4 hours. I was looking for a timer that would run 4 hrs sleep for 2, 3 or 4 and start the cycle over again. I don't think the timer I bought will do that. maybe we need to swap?

I just bought a 12 hr timer like the one on my shower light. The old fashion spring wound timer. Mounted in a blue plastic outlet box. Put a duplex outlet in next to it and feed it with a cord that plugs into a regular outlet. I just turn the dial to the needed time and walk away.
