Tulammo Zinc Cases reload?

I have some Tulammo cases that appear to be zinc plated but they are not brass so they must be steel because they will stick to a magnet. My question is can I reload these cases?I tried to post this in the reloading forum but it keeps saying I'm not logged in and if I try to log in, it says I'm already logged in...

Just because they are nice and shiny, other than that, no reason at all. One of my shooting buddies shot 100 of them and I picked them up.

No!
I have read about some very experienced guys trying it and their results were mixed, at best. The ammo is cheaper than brass cased ammo because the steel case is a throw away.

OK, that's why I was asking because they are steel. Thanks

Be more concerned about the primer than the case . Those funny Russian primers can cause all sorts of problems , and they don't play well if you try to use a boxer primer in that "two-hole" pocket .

not all of the russian steel cases use a berdan primer. Some are boxer primed

Many do not know about Berdan vs. Boxer primers . Especially newer shooters , and having owned Com-Bloc weapons since Vietnam , the difference can cause many issues , and in some cases , be dangerous . Better to call attention to it , than have a new member post , "Gee ; Wish someone had told me about this " !
