Tula Primers

Does anyone have experience with the Tula Larger Rifle Magnum primers?

I have been using the non-Magnum primers with good results in a variety of cartridges. Because of the primer shortages a few years back I purchased a box of the Magnums.

Dont know what to expect.

Plan on doing the usual... drop the charges a grain or a 1/2gn and go from there.

Unless I hear from the board that I can expect "issues" with the Magnums.

I have used them and had good results. I would use starting loads and work up.

They are not much hotter than Russian LR primers. I switched lots of H4831SC and my ES increased significantly with Russian LR, probably because the new powder lot was about a grain slower. I tried Russian LRM and ES dropped back under 10 and I was happy again. Keep both in stock. You never know which primer will produce best results in a given combination.
