TSRA Mid Range results

Congrats to the winners, good job guys!

Fredrik, looks like that match the weekend before got you primed up and ready for this one! Way to hang on with Johnny and Ray breathing down your neck! That tip i gave you about keeping those lucky rabbit feet in your front pocket really paid off........:D

So there is a 3 legged bunny hopping around in South Loozie Anna...?

Fredrik and Ray both shot some amazing rounds during some very tricky conditions. I finished early.. maybe too early and watched Fredrik shoot a pile of X's. Proud to share the line with Fredrik and Ray as they are two fine gentleman!

There were several others that performed in their respected categories.... Kenny and Stacey had a nice back and forth contest in match rifle! Keith and Randy had similar back and forth in Service rifle... and those guys in Palma "slinging it out" with .223's in that squirrely wind..! All of those guys can sure control that rifle and read that wind amazingly well...

Open class was a mad dash to the finish line... Lead bouncing around several times with Gilbarto collecting his first big match win if I recall him saying! Proud of Joe Regina for big come back on Sunday. He really turned it on and posted his personal best scores! Atta Boy Joe!

FTR Ray sure tried to be the Come back kid posting some near perfect scores in the worst conditions of the weekend... I said he was like a race horse they call a Mudder.. He does will when the conditions are tuff... You know, Maybe this was Fredrik's first big win? It wont be the last for sure! Calm and steady... He will be there again!
Several others I can recall some excellent shooting that Jen did a great job Day 2 for a nice come back posting high women's score and 1st in Master class!

Lots of good shooting!

Last but not least... Thanks to all of those that gave their time and missed shooting! Calling the match, running the show and keep the match moving! Thank you all....

Thanks Jade, will for sure never shoot without those rabbit feet again :)

About 3 years ago I met Fredrik at a match at Bayou Rifles. If memory serves me correctly, Fredrik was shooting a Savage TR in .308 with an extraordinarily short throat and a HORRIBLE trigger. He needed some work to relieve his frustration and get that rifle shooting. He met Omar Alonzo, an excellent riflesmith, who got Fredrik going. In that very short time, Fredrik has come A LONG WAY! He has become an excellent shot, a savvy reloader and is part of the underpinnings at Bayou Rifles. My hat is off to you Fredrik, not just for winning the TSRA Mid-Range Championship, but for being a "winner in the human race" also! Great job my friend, great job!
