Congrats!
Have a great match!

Congratulations to the team winners! Some good shooters for sure.

Great shooting Ronnie and Jennifer!

We should see some really good individual scores. That range is pretty sheltered. I have never had to use more than a 1/2 minute of wind there.

Here are the F-Open scores..thanks to Skip for putting on a perfectly ran match! As you can see, there were some unbelieveable scores posted...Ken Dickerman put on a show with a 1200/81! The bar has been raised for sure....It's the first 1200 that I've ever heard of being shot, and couldn't have happened to a better guy! Awesome shooting sir!! Ken and myself also tied the National record this morning with 200/19 each, both shoot on the same relay! I stubbed my toe pretty hard on 3rd relay day one taking myself out of the race. Texas mirage was worst I've ever shoot in. There were 4-600's posted today! A great weekend of shooting and friends!

Another congrats to Norm. His first 600 while fire forming his Shehane brass...I'm still thinking about taking up golf!!

Those are some great scores in Open. Congratulations to Ken on shooting an all-clean, very impressive! And the 200-19X in the 5th match, wow!

Does anyone have the TR scores?

Ken Dickerman was absolutely on fire! This is THEE FIRST 1200 score I believe in 600 yard history! If y'all remember Ken shot a record tying 200-19x at LAST YEARS TSRA Mid-Range! This year he did it again! BUT what even made it more fantastic is that FalconPilot (Jim Fowler) also shot a 200-19X during the same match on the same relay! AMAZING! This was a fabulous match! I have seen B-A-D heat waves before>>BUT NEVER LIKE THIS! Shooters having to use THREE INCH spotters just to SEE THE SPOTTER! WHOA! Great shooting by a GREAT bunch of guys! AND it was run like smooth oil! Excellent!

Thanks to Skip and all the others who helped put the match on. Very well ran. Finished 4 relays by 1:30 today. Some excellent scores posted up as well. I've always wondered what shooting under water would be like and got to do it on my last 2 targets yesterday with that mirage!!

Thanks so much for all the compliments, I can assure you that I was but a small part of the management of this match. My good friend, Buddy Reich, was the Pit Boss. He is an excellent shooter on a rest or hanging on a sling and understands the demands of an F-Class match. Keith Stephens, another excellent rifle champion, was the Data Officer and kept us all updated with scores and good squadding. David Wilson, the match director at Panola County Gun Club, had everything we needed there to have a successful, expedient match. And Ken Gaby, the Match Director, kept everyone on their toes directing the match, there was absolutely no down time. What a team!

And Jim (Falconpilot), you are the only individual I know that, in the second match of the day, shot a national record tying match and didn't even win the match. He got Creedmoored by Ken Dickerman, who also shot a 200x19! But great shooting nonetheless.

Congrats to great friend and teammate Ken Dickerman on a dominating performance in Open, 1200 is just amazing!!!

Also, a big thank you to Skip, Ken, Keith, Buddy, and David, the match was great!!!

Skip et al,

Pam and I would both like to pass along our thanks for putting on a great, well run match. I'd also like to say thanks to all the shooters. This was Pam's first match away from our home range and, being a woman in a male dominated sport, she was very nervous. Everyone made her feel very welcome and comfortable, particularly John Bishop who she was partnered with for the weekend, but also, Mr. Dickerman, whose target she pulled, and many others.

I also want to thank Skip and everyone else that made my father, who came is disabled and came as a spectator, feel so welcome. We discussed at length on the car ride home last night, how we all look forward to attending any future matches that Skip and his crew host and how this experience has helped Pam over her fear of traveling to new ranges in this sport.

This is all the long way of saying what I and many of us have said for years that you'd have to look long and hard to find a better, more open group of people then shooters.

Thanks to all,

Keith Roberts
