TSRA Final Results

Congratulations to Mark Walker, winner of TSRA LR this past weekend. He shot a 1181-54X.

I had the honor and distinct privilege to be squaded next to him and observe. It was a joy to watch him in action. This man can shoot.

Thanks Deny! I would like to also say Congrats to the other winners of the match:

F-T/R - Freddy Haltom - 1148 x 27

Match Rifle - Randy Nash - 1176 x 40

Palma Rifle - Ken Porter - 1179 x 40

Service Rifle - Roger Sepaugh - 1116 x 27

How about a run down of the match and the weather for the weekend. Looked like alot of rain on the big radar.

That and the lack of money kept me from attending.

It was a great match....Both days were very windy, with the first being switchy, and the second day just down right blowing! Rain held off all weekend til jsut after the closing shot of the match. Had 55 shooter in all I believe...Below are the results:

Thanks Jim for posting the results and a Quick weather report.

I see it was a dog fight right down to the end with Mark and yourself. I always like it that way. Good shooting to you and Mark Both.

I see Randy Nash who comes over to Little Rock Every now and then won the Match Rifle.

ANyone from that area that would be intrested in shooting the TN Midrange Championship 7th and 8th November. drop me a line.
Its in Memphis right on the Arkansas/ TN line.

Thanks Joe and Thanks Russ.

It was close right to the end, and that is the way it should be. Caused me a few gray hairs, but that's what makes is fun.

Falcon is tough, and Mike Downey who finished 3rd was coming back STRONG on Sun, just like I expected he would be...

Good shooting and great fellowship, it does not get better!!!

It should be mentioned that David Bailey, Mark, and then myself where front runners, with David have a led going into the second day. David and Mark were both shooting the lights out..Going into the second day, there was no resquading, which left David on a different relay than the rest of us, and as a result, I think he got hosed as the winds on his relay were ripping!!! Wish we could have all shot the same relay...would have liked for David to have gotten to shoot in the same winds as us...

Russ, I looking forward to coming to Memphis again! Always a great time.....I'm still running the Dasher, and look forward to shooting it at 300, 500 and 600!!! This should be fun...
