Trying to find a 243 75gr V-Max load using StaBall or IMR 4166

I have been able to finally grab some powder. Not my first choices to begin building a new load since I had been using Varget but these powders were available. I have the load data from Hodgdon but would like any input from those who have already tried either of these powders.

Based on Hodgdon load data alone either powder appears to be a good selection. However load tables never tell you "the rest of the story" like real life experience with these powders. Any specific information would be very helpful. I am looking for news about any quirks noticed or things to look for from the experience of others.

I will post back all of my information as I build out loads for these two powders too.

I've been using some IMR 4166 as a replacement for the 4064's. I like it so far, accuracy wise and especially in ease of barrel cleaning. A little gray soot is all at near full cases. I just got another 8 lbs of it. So far I've run it in the 6mm Rem as near to a 243 and maybe not top velocity but it does the accuracy job to my satisfaction. 4005 fps with a 55gr Nosler BT. My only gripe is it being a stick powder it still has some tendency to cut in the powder measure. But copper fouling is a thing of the past. Halleluiah!

I'd still like to try the StaBall 6.5 when it becomes available. It sounds perfect for several of my cartridges. But, even better would be a StaBall 6.0
