Now the 1,000 is closed for renovation but when another re-opens that will again be a topic of discussion. Seems wind from the east covers most of the exposed range. Back in the last 400 yard "tunnel" it comes over lower banks, hits higher banks and blows back hard the opposite direction. Only those that see it lose their mind, temporarily.

I hate when each side is coming from the opposite direction, and the center flags are blowing straight up. I've seen this more than once at Raton.

It makes me need sedatives back at the motel

At Manatee Ive seen the large American flag blowing north , flags at 100 and 200 blowing east and flags all the way to the target each blowing in a different direction than the one further down the line.

The range at the Marine Barracks at Mare Island Naval Shipyard. During the standing portion of a High Power Match, the best you could do when the wind was blowing, was try to catch the bull when the front sight was passing through.

While at a High Power match at Lodi Wi. (Decades ago) each of the four wind flags was blowing in a different direction. I said chuck it and didn't adjust for anything. Shot almost my norm.
