True Velocity Ammo 6.5

Have any of you bought any of this ammo? I have watched a bunch of videos on this ammo and the only two advantages I see is weight and heat. They stated that is a full auto platform the barrel was not nearly as hot as with brass ammo.

I might buy some if I won the lottery, tho some habits are hard to break. The last factory ammo I bought was some 30-06 for $15/box.

I am confused; if a brass case acts as a heat sink upon firing and carries that heat away upon extraction/ejection, how is a barrel cooler when firing a polymer case that does not.

I think they claim that the heat generated in the brass from firing conducts to the chamber where with plastic it does not

I guess they might have actually sold some during this panic.
I have 900 308 rounds I bought in bulk, years ago. Think I paid 50 cents a round. I’m keeping it for a rainy day. Would I spend an extra $59 for 20 just to save some weight? I’m not that old yet!

Right. Chamber, not the bore.

I'm not sure I care if the chamber doesn't get as hot.
I am assuming/thinking that the difference in heat transferred to the throat does not make any difference in the lift of the barrel.

Yes the bore cannot be any different. Firing is firing whether its a brass, plastic, or cigar wrapped case

Their site says they make 6.5 Creedmore. But I have not seen where anyone has got their hands on any yet.

Been a little curious about this stuff after watching numerous commercials on the RFD channel. They also advertised a half hour show high lighting the stuff. Didn't watch, guess that shows my level of interest.
