Trouble with exporter

I'm so angry that I forgot to ask the question. :(

The two rifles could be sent to another store as long as it has FFL valid, or under US law they can only be returned to the gunsmith who assembled the rifles?

It can go FFL to FFL, it does not have to go the gunsmith.

It can be shipped legally to ANY other FFL holder in The U.S. You really are getting a run around by that dealer. Once it goers to another FFL, it is up to them to follow U.S. law to transfer it to an individual or export it.

They're charging me by the time the rifle stayed in the store, I agreed, (though I'm just pulling out of the store because they did not meet the legal deadline)
They are charging me an export cancellation penalty for items that I paid in full and I am shipping to another store to export because they did not deliver on time and the license expired. Although they charged me once the value of 350 dollars to be able to export. And a lot more. I agreed to not linger longer and want to settle it at once.
So I agreed with everything, even though it did not seem fair.
Problem is that even if I agree with the proposal they made me, they still did not send the weapons to the FFL indicated and did not return the remaining amount.

I can only wait patiently.

If I were in your position, I'd stop waiting and call the District Attorney's office in The County they are located in. What they are doing is called fraud in The U.S. and the fact that you are not a U.S. Citizen is not an issue at all. You are being ripped off something terrible. Also find a U.S. attorney and file a lawsuit against them for every dollar you have paid them, plus legal expenses. Also, after talking with an attorney, publish their name and address here so the rest of us can avoid those thieves. I have never even heard of a gunsmith trying to charge for the time a rifle has been in their shop, and when they refuse to deliver it, it makes absolutely no sense at all. They could hold it for 10 years (if it even exists) and then try to charge you $10 per day for storage fees. Its nonsense. We have sort of a rule of law in The U.S. and in most States and Counties, they take such things seriously. Then there is no such thing as an export cancellation fee. I have exported (not firearms related products) all over the world. Sometimes there is an extra export fee ($25-$50) for the documents required, but if the export is cancelled, it just doesn't get shipped. There is no additional cost involved. In Brazil Customs plays those sort of games, but not in The U.S. (Brazil is one of the most difficult nations for us to export to.) Good Luck. Its time to get true legal help.

See to believe...

But one call or letter from an attorney might solve the problem if he thinks he's going to get sued.

Rumor has it that the store has closed. I believe the money will not recover. But in the case of custom rifles, which I paid and the gunsmith sent to the store, could they have sold?
