Got a foreign sales something on the phone, kind of like extended policy. He asked for Bill.

I said he in the shop I'll get him for you. Held the phone in front of me and yelled Bill, phone. Put the phone down continued working.

After a few minutes picked it and asked did he answer...no. yelled again, put the phone down.

Did this 3X !! Then said I'll go see where he is, put the phone down.

Picked it up after a few and said he's tied up for about a minute but he'll be right here. Put the phone down. After a few more asked if he'd answered.... no. I said I'll go see what happened. Guy says no no no ill call back

Blew nearly 25 minutes of his time while I did some book work.

With caller ID every number I don't recognize goes to answering machine, most never bother leaving a message, delete those that do.

I'm an early riser, out of bed 4am most every day. Once in a while I'll get a call around 5am and answer, play along a few minutes then go scorched earth on them until they hang up. Always feel better afterward.

My sister’s dog howls when her house phone rings. If it’s a telemarketer she holds phone by him for 10-15 seconds and they hang up! Good job Milo!
