Really right stuff TFCT-33: Series 3, 3 Leg Sections with an anvil 30 head.


A few of the guys I shoot with started running the two vets tripods and Really like them too.

Sky's the limit- RRS w/ anvil 30
Next down- Two Vets w/ anvil 30 conversion bowl and anvil 30
I've got three kids getting ready for college- Two Vets with Amazon ballhead
(You could substitute a Fatboy for the Two Vets)
Last but functional- Pig 0311and Amazon ballhead

"Varmint shooting" covers many different facets, one size does not fit all.......

Budget, total weight, and physical size, in folded & extended lengths, all need to be taken into consideration.

If you are on a tight budget the leofoto Ranger LS-323C can be had pretty cheap. The Anvil 30 is still one of the best ball heads but leofoto made a knock off one of those too. The leofoto is an MA-30

I started with the leofoto with a RRS leveling base. The leveling bases are super stable but very limited in vertical motion

I use a Kopfjager K700 Reaper Grip and it does everything that I need.

I ended up buying 2 leofoto inverted leg tripods. Got them cheap on ebay $250-300.

Leofoto SO-362C Inverted Rifle Series Carbon Fiber Tripod+ and the 322 thats one size smaller​
