Trimmer.?

Can you recommend a trimmer that maybe hooks to a drill for bulk trimming of .223 brass for plinking ammo.?
I have the Forester now which I really like but trimming 200 LC brass for plinking ammo is getting very old very fast..

I am not looking for a trimmer that you would use for extream long distance , my carbines are iron sights so a little deviation is not going to hurt anything in my opinion... I have seen the advertisement for the little crow ones but have never used them only the Forester and an absolute crap Lyman I bought when I first started I now use for pistol brass....

All recommendations are appreciated , I know alot of you like the high end trimmers and if I was shooting extream long distance they would be considered by myself but the furthest my range is is 300 meters and it's hard to justify a $500 plus trimmer for that , the Forester does an excellent job in my opinion for me... The main two Rifle rounds I load are .233 and .308.... The .308 rounds are done by hand to the best of my ability and I don't care how long they take , the .223 are done on a Dillon after sizing on a single stage...

Thanks in advance as always....

Dillon power trim die mounted on your press, followed by a expander mandrel to bring the neck back to proper tension. That will be your fastest option. Giraud is also quality option since it chamfer/deburs at the same time. I trimmed 1k pieces of 223 brass on my Giraud this last weekend, took about 45 minutes.

The WFT (world's finest trimmer) is a pretty good/relatively inexpensive trimmer for about $100, pretty consistent as well but works best on FL sized cases. I have one in 22-250, and the FL sizing needs to be "consistent" for it to trim all cases. Brass that has been oversized (moved that damn shoulder too much ;)) and it won't trim no matter how long the neck is.

The WFT works great for my .223 AR15 loads. Quick and consistent enough for plinking ammo. Also use it for my 6.5 Creedmoor needs and it keeps lengths within 0.002, and 0.001 if you go slow and are more consistent with your pressure.

Giraud Tri-Way trimmer. $105.00. Carbide blades, adjustable. Trims to length and chamfers the inside and outside of case mouth.

These look interesting. But, 6mm ppc requires a custom die.
I had them make me a Dasher and 7SAUM inserts. Sent them a sized case for each. They run off the shoulder angle + neck diameter, so some have commonality. 6BRX, 6BR, 6x47 would be the same more or less.

If your looking for something that does'nt break the bank and works well the Giraud Tri way trimmer shouldnt be overlooked. Fast and easy to use, consistent. Trims, chamfers and deburs in one operation, and has quality carbide cutters.
For 105$ it's a good deal.
I prefer it to the wft and a few others no doubt.

Use my powered Giraud case trimmer mostly, but that's a whole other budget.
I have'nt tried the many of the nevwer ones linked though, since i've had the best trimmer i can buy for quite some time.

Do you find the powered Giraud does a better job than the tri way?
