Trim it 2 Trimmers

I have the trim it 2 and am now wondering whether the motor specifically for the trim it is worth it. Or just continue using a portable drill. Does any one have the motor and did you find it was easier to use than with a drill. Motors are $75 and the stand and motor are $180. Motor is $150 CDN with shipping and exchange to Alberta. Is it worth it?

Ended up with an extra shaft and 3 way cutter for a trim it. PM me and I will put it up for sale.

Turning mine with a small lathe. I wouldn't worry about using the special motor.

Yes have been watching both CT and Princess Auto for a suitable motor, for now will keep using my drill. And Mgunderson thank you for the offer but mine has the 3way cutter already. Doubt I would be able to were it out.
