Trim it 2 Trimmer

I have a trim-it one ....it works very well. Looking at the new model I think it would work
as good or better. Some of their inserts will cover several different cases and will work without
having to buy a complete body for every case. For some reason trimming cases is a PITA for
me anyway. I don't think there is "the perfect" trimmer out there. My 2 cents!:)

I know this is a 5 year old thread but I’m asking how users are liking the Trim it 2.

Like Delfuego, I sold my Giraud Triway, it was beautifully made but I could never get the adjustment right for a consistent inside and outside neck chamfer. Went back to a Wilson plus inside and outside tools for chamfering. Three steps and takes much longer than the Triway.

I prep 50 or 100 cases in a batch at any one time and have been thinking of buying the Trim It 2.

This is for .308 FTR.

I have the Tri-Way for my .308 and a Trim-It 2 for my 6.5 PRC. I like my Tri-Way, though any adjusting is indeed a bear to adjust just right and the cutter does tend to chamfer a little deeper than Trim-It and more than I prefer (though not really a problem). The Trim-It 2 is way easier to adjust and gives me a slightly more uniform cut, but that might because the die for the 6.5 PRC was custom done for me to the cases I use. There's not difference in the speed of getting the trimming done between the two.

I do have a Trim-It 2 die for the .308, but haven't used it as I just want to keep both trimmers dedicated to the caliber
