[Kracken McGraw]

This trigger is supposed to be a 16 ounce to 3.5 pound trigger, $100 cheaper than the Diamond. I could live with 16 ounce and the hundred saved, is it any good and will it really go that light?

I have 2 of those triggers. I have mine set at about ~18 oz. I don't have any desire for a very light pull. A bit over 1 pound is just fine. I did once own a 40X that had a Jewell benchrest 2-stage trigger that was maybe 8 oz. That trigger was almost orgasmic. Should have kept the trigger when I sold the rifle.

I have a gold Diamond and just recently installed a Diamond in a buddies ar10.
My trigger is set @8oz while my buddies is @ 12oz.
Buddy paid $239 @ Optics Planet I believe.

As long as someone didn't change out the firing pin spring to something heavier than 24 lbs, then they'll get very close to 16 oz. They ones I have are very crisp and are safe at that level.

When I had specials, I ran them at 1.5#. There was room to go lower.

I have two TT Specials. They are working great. I was able to set them to 12 oz.

I have one on a hunting rifle that is set to 1.5 and it is able to go lower but never did check to see how low it will go.

I bounced around price wise and on the trigger pull weight and finally went with a Bix Tac Sport X, not the Tac Sport Pro X.

Those of you with the TT Special... how far out did you have to run the adjustment screw to get the weight down to where you wanted it? I've got mine turned out further than I'd expected, and it didn't seem to make any difference.

They ran them a couple of times for black friday/cyber monday. I had one, felt exactly like my other Diamonds and sold it to someone specifically wanting a gold one

I have 2 TT Specials. I like them better than the 1 Timney I have. The TT's are set to a bit over a pound which is more than light enough for me.

Good decision. I had a couple TT's and swapped them out for Bix- You get about 16 thou more pin fall with a bix
