Triggertech diamond

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this. Looking for a deal on an triggertech diamond for bench shooting. Anyone running sales on the triggertech diamond for the 700? The cheapest I have found right now is optics planet. Any info is much appreciated!

Don't expect a 2 oz or lighter pull. And it may take some rounds to get it to 4 ozs. It did mine anyway. Their Customer Service will also tell you that

Any recommendations on other triggers just outta curiosity? I have had jewells and didn’t love them. I have a Bix n Andy Dakota in a hunting rifle. I have also been researching their tac sport pro. Im open to other options!

If you're not looking for 2 ounces
What poundage of pull are you looking for in a trigger?
If a crisp 1 to 1.5 lb is acceptable I might let you try out one of my Worked Rem 700 triggers
However if you need it below 1 pound I might recommend JARD Triggers
I like their triggers and their prices

I’d like to get to 8oz, maybe a bit less

Roger that, yeah check out JARD's website, they have good options for you,
... as well as offering triggers with a Safety in their light ounce scale range of triggers.
I personally love their Set Triggers which offers both worlds, and are adjustable

I have a jard in a mini action and I’m on the fence about it. Still need to tinker with it and do some adjusting, but it’s had to be sent back once. I need to get in touch with you about some trigger jobs. I have a handful of walker triggers laying around that I need might need worked over for some Remington bdl varminters.

Gotcha, well if you've tried a Jard already and are on the fence then I understand
The Set 2 lb /3-8 oz trigger I tried worked great but they also have great customer service and quick return time
Perhaps you should send it to them with your concerns and have them take a look at yours.
-------------
When you're ready for your Walker triggers to be done lemme know
I wouldn't mind sending you one for a 30 day tryout, no cash upfront
Just send me one of yours as collateral

Seems like they are on sale around the Black Friday / Cyber Monday time of year. You might be able to find a lightly used one for a good price.

I have a Tac Sport and it’s very nice. I would expect the Pro model to be even better. Love the Gator shoe option.
I had a Tac Sport also - great feeling trigger. But, I did have to clean it every couple months - the first stage would get gritty and the second stage weight would increase. All those little parts along with little steel balls that really wanted to roll freaked me out. If I do get a Tac Sport [now it's called Tac Sport X], I'd want to get replacement ball bearings and those springs. In my mind, it's just a matter of time until one goes AWOL.
I live in the Mid Hudson Valley - so not a lot of dust.

I've read that TT's are less susceptible to having dust get in them. My next trigger is going to be a TT diamond.

Mine’s a single stage. No problems yet, fingers crossed.

I own 2 Triggertech Diamond triggers and had the chance to shoot a friend's rifle he built with a

RISE Reliant Pro Rem 700 Trigger. I was so impressed with it, I purchased one and installed it on my last bolt action build. It looses nothing to s TT.
