I think Savagedasher may be thinking the entire handle was replaced.

Dans40x, WTF are you smoking to make you so miserable and rude in everyone of your posts?

If they took the bolt handle off and installed it wrong it COULD of changed the bolt location. I never said that what was done.
But if he installs the original trigger it would be a simple test.

I should be getting the "new" Basix trigger tomorrow and I will install the factorytrigger first to get that out of the way.

Simple test . Not every one does bolt work correct.
Alex has had several u tube videos if you looked at them you would of seen it wasn't what I said mite be right . Larry

Sorry to have to say this guys , all your answers to DO IT YOUSELF GUNSMITHING , are NOT on the Internet . There are reasons gunsmiths recomend and HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE to safely install triggers .
I along with DANS 40x suggest professional help . Having a AD at the range , or for that matter , is unsafe .
Of course many here have the install and adj procedure but supplying that info COULD hold the person liable .
Actually this is an open gunsmithing forum and and you can get the answers you need. You go around on many threads here whining about how everyone needs to go see a pro. If I can own a firearm I'm an adult and can do as I please. If you are truly worried about your fellow man then offer real knowledge instead of treating people as you would a five year old.

I know , I also know the wise choice to protect someone . Maybe there should be only gunsmiths on the gunsmith forum , too many DANGEROUS wannabes . I know you drive a truck , ok I drive a car , actually 14 ( I love old hot rods ) but would I drive a semi across country , heck no ! Would I instruct someone on how to do that , heck no . That's the diff between a professional and amateur .
Glad to hear your still with the living , turn any chips ?

Ok so you are able to purchase a weapon , great , even manufacturers recomend you send it back for trigger work , you would void the warranty if played with .
I do recomend a lot of info , but none that will jeopardize life .
And I'm really glad to here you haven't changed . I'm not the only one that suggested a professional , but you say I'm whining ? No hard feelings , just concern for the Internet misinformation highway .

Look guys, I suspect more than a few of us are tired of hearing "go to a professional" when asking fairly simple questions. When you buy a Jewell trigger, it gives very explicit instructions on adjusting their trigger. Same for Timney and Canjar (when they were in business) and even Anschutz (a very complicated trigger). All the OP wanted to know was this type information because it wasn't in with his trigger package. Not much need for this section of the forum if only gunsmiths ask questions and post; they already know the answers. Gun enthusiasts are always interested in how things are done, if they can do them, what equipment they need, etc. Some serious ones do a lot of their own work. Some become gunsmiths, some start a successful gun company. Roy Weatherby started his business in his garage. If you're a gunsmith and don't want to help a poster, why not just skip over it instead of lecturing him on getting professional help?
