No problem at all with a spare trigger hanger.

My last Jewell install into a Remington 700 SS action was a SNUG fit for sure so if one has a spare it wouldn't hurt to make sure it will install properly before needing to have to do it away from the convenience of a properly equipped reloading bench. It helped to be able to hold the action in a padded vise.

TriggerTech are probably the most reliable.

My take: the newest trigger on the market is always “more reliable” than the older ones. They just haven’t been around long enough to gum up and fail.

Any 2oz trigger will fail if you do not maintain it properly. That’s just physics. Foaming bore cleaner, improper cleaning technique, and storing your rifle muzzle up are major culprits. (You don’t want anything dripping into the trigger). Using improper lubrication is also a problem.

If you do everything right and keep them clean, they generally work well. Sometimes that’s hard to do (we do shoot outdoors after all), so a spare is never a terrible idea.
