Trigger hanger on BAT SV ?

I just installed a jewel trigger on my new Bat SV action. The trigger hanger has 10 marked on the front and 20 on the rear. I thought that this may have something to do with spacing of the trigger in relation to cocking piece since the hanger is reversable. Could any one help me out ?

Yes, that's the idea. My 3-Lug also came with a second hanger labeled 10 and 20. I was told to use the one that set the back of the pin flush to the bolt shroud.

BAT makes two different hangers: 0-30 and 10-20. The hanger position '0' will position the trigger as much forward as possible. Installing it to '20' will move the trigger and firing pin back .02 inches from the 'normal' position.
They were made because there a differences in triggers.

I have a 0-30 hanger and it was easy to find the right setting. If I set it to 30 the firing pin spring would continue to compress when closing the bolt making it a bit stiff. Also the trigger would reset when the bolt moved back when the handle hit the cam.
Using the '0' the bolt will close easily and trigger will reset without having to touch the cam. The firing pin moves ever so slightly forward.

You have to try both settings. A 10-20 hanger will show smaller differences than a 0-30.

When you start moving the handle to closed position slowly, the handle will stop after the cam, during the cam the firing pin will move forward quite a bit). Now measure the distance from the back of the pin to back of the shroud. Then move the handle all the way down and measure again. You will notice it has moved slightly.
You should choose the setting which gives you the least firing pin movement when closing the bolt. This is most likely the setting where the pin is flush to the shroud like Mike said.

You will also notice how the handle is positioned when you hear the trigger reset click.

I have an extra 10 - 20 hanger, if anyone needs one to fine tune their timing.
