trigger for stevens 200

i put a trigger from fred moreo in my other stevens and it works very good. am going to make another one, who else makes a trigger for a stevens and how do they compare? cliffe

Rifle basix makes a couple of triggers for the savage. If you are looking to go lighter,their sav-2 model goes down to 4 oz) that may be the way to go. If you are looking for a good hunting/varminting/paper punching trigger you have already found, in my opinion, the best trigger out there for a savage. Apparently Fred is coming out with a new trigger that is supposed to go down to 2oz. I have not seen them posted on his site yet, but a poster on savageshooters.com mentioned he had one on his rifle.
