TRG bipod rubber pads

I have receive a lot of question about how I modify my TRG bipod in the TRG article, and I decided me to start a new topic about how I make it.

I cut out rubber plates,3mm) and laminated it with "super glue" and in the middle of the laminate I laminated a little steel plate.
The steel plate I used is like a nut inside the rubber.
The steel plate does not show on the outside of the rubber feet.
After I finished all the layers with rubber plate, I grinded it into the right size/shape with a rotating sandpaper grinding machine.

Here are om pics of the rubber pads on the TRG bipod.
