Tremor 3 – Learning Curve

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for feedback on the Tremor 3 reticle.

How did you find the learning curve?

Once you've got your head around it, do you feel that everything else is a step backwards?

Thanks...

It’s not for everyone. It’s ideal if you’ve got targets at multiple ranges and you’re engaging them quickly, like for PRS, or if you’re a sniper, and the FFP is very useful too for your holdovers at different magnifications. I can see that most people wouldn’t like the busy reticle for BR or F-Class. I was using them before I started shooting BR so the extra info on the reticle doesn’t bother me, but I wouldn’t spend the extra money on the reticle just for BR or F.

Had one and was not impressed. Here is some food for thought. If you are going to go through the motions of using a ballistics program to produce dial ups you might as well use it for wind holds.
My biggest problem with it was the wind holds were not a specific and easily useable number... like it might have been 7.3 mph or something.

I dont mind a busy reticle if its completely understandable, and techically I suppose it is but just not for me. I am going to buy another H59 and they are busy also but at least the wind holds are uniformed in mils.

That reticle is an abortion.

You HAVE to hold over to use the wind dots. As soon as you dial up to put the target on the center cross hair you are using the mil markings to the left and right anyway. Which, by the way, are buried beneath the crosshair while the moving lead markers are on top.

That reticle just has waaay too much going on.
