Torque wrenches?

Most tool trucks have a checker on board and can see very quick if yours is off by enough to matter
I built race engines and can tell you-- the Way you Use it-- has a lot to do with results--Smooth steady one pull is best--when you see a clown jerking on one--he knows nothing.
Lube matters and changes readings
Snap On will recalibrate if you send it in--check them at the settings you use most--
Buy used Snap On at pawn shop or ? send them In for tune up never look back
I used to check multiple wrenches for a race shop on regular basis--some cheap models do just as good as the big $$ units--we had employees bring in personal units for a check--Cobalts and other cheapos could do great the one unit I had that was always a PIA was a 1/2 in drive Snap On--
Close is good enough for 95% of jobs---too much is Bad --too little usually harms nothing--I have had engines that required say 55 ft lbs on a rod bolt --get run with 25 on them and you would not know until next season rebuild--Over do it stretch the fastener and BOOM
