Torque specs for piller bedded actions

Question came up at the range one day while doing some other adjustments to another shooters rifle , and I suggested , "Give McMillan a call ". McMillan said 45in/pd. on their stocks . That's where it got set at , and all the sudden , his "Flyers" disappeared . Hmmm . Maybe they got sumptin there .

Calibrated click elbow for me.
Close to German torque.
Not quite gorilla tight though.
