Top ten reasons to shoot F-Class

#10 – You can’t see the front sight anymore.
#9 – It’s too damned hot to put on the sweatshirt and coat.
#8 – Even a Palma rifle is too heavy to hold up long enough to shoot.
#7 – The only thing you can tolerate around your arm is a blood pressure cuff.
#6 – You don’t have to shoot with those smug sling guys anymore.
#5 – You enjoy being treated like a second class citizen.
#4 – Your gunsmith forgot to turn the muzzle for the sight.
#3 – The occasional scope whack helps keep you awake.
#2 – You can actually see the target when you shoot. [br]
And the #1 reason…
#1 – It looks like some damn fool put an MR-65 center on your LR target.

Shoot benchrest and you don't have to lay in the dirt on your belly. ;D ;D

We have these handy things called "shooting mats" that keep us (mostly) out of the dirt. ;) [br]
Besides, benchrest is for when you're too decrepit to even shoot F-Class. :)

Gee,I thought it was the f-class guys that were the elitist snobs... ;D

I saw some stickers or t-shirts at Perry that some sling shooters had made up that said "Death Before F-Class'. I got a kick out of it!

i shoot...or am going to shoot f-class so i can lug around a 21 lb gun, get ALL the attention at my local 100 yard range with my 20 lb rest, shooting little 1 hole groups...because 1 hole groups at 100 yards translates to a 200-20X at 1000 yards right??? :D

plus why use open sights when you can use a 55x scope...the near same power magnification as the spotting scope of the guy next to me? Also, looking through liitle peep holes and putting themselves in leather and slings...LOL. seems like those guys are pervy masochists to me :o

all jokes aside, i have the upmost respect for them.

Reason #6 in action.

If you have to go through the trouble of making up shirts and stickers you know we're in their heads. 8)

I'm 60, and too young to even think about f-class. Maybe in 20 years or so... ;D Until then, I stick with my sling.

I think when you get old and start thinking what can do now shooting, you have a choice ……… F class or check into mental health………. LOL……. jim

I'm 43 and am too interested in precision to even think about sling.

Interesting comment about age though. With the understanding of the history of why F Class was created, I seem to see a whole lot of youngsters shooting F Class.

11. You're a U.S. Armed Forces admirer and you just figured out that they use optics now.
12. You're a 22 year old shooter and you didn't realize that a rifle would actually do that.

Someone mentioned seeing a T-Shirt that read. "Death before F-Class".

I guess that'll probably work out for em.
LOL
