Top- Brass Quality

I’m wanting to stock up on some economical 223 brass to use in my Rock River AR15. Will be using it for practice, varmints etc. - no competition use. I’ve been looking at Top-Brass and wondered if anyone has used it and if it is a decent buy?

I just checked Top Brass (haven't used them). Looks like reconditioned brass runs $46.99 per 250, mixed head stamps, lots, firearms it was fired in.
You can buy NEW bulk Lake City brass from MidSouth from $44.99 per 250.

I would go with the new brass every time. But that is just me.

I have some .308 top brass that was fully processed. It seems like some good stuff.

I was given some of their "processed" 50 BMG brass at a match (it was on the gift table). After getting it home, and checking dimensions, it was terrible. I contacted them about it not being consistent as far as length, nor were over half of them "prepped". They said it "didn't leave our facility like that". It all went into my scrap pile. I will never purchase anything they offer for sale.

Note: Several other 50 shooters that were at that same match, had identical dimension issues with the Top-Brass brass they received at the same match. They too, scrapped that brass as well.

I typically buy 1x fired LC that is processed for roughly $80/1000.
