Top 5 suppressors

TBAC are very good. Have a ultra 9 6.5 can. buddy has a ultra 7 223 can. It is uber quiet on a 22-250 bolt.
Gunwerks Eight I have is legit on larger volume cases.
I think Diligent Defense is another one that is very quiet.
Buddy has the banish 30 and 223. Both are pretty good.
I have a gemtek one and I would avoid due to it not being very quite.

I think if you do a lot of research on them and I would avoid cans that use an break or flash hider adapter. Because you get racked $100 for each adapter. I look for a direct thread that has both 1/2 x 28 and 5/8 x 24 adapters with the can when you buy it.

My buddy is looking at getting all that stuff. I just screw it on and shoot. I have no idea why anyone would sign on for an adapter on every rifle.

You only make that mistake once. I found a company that makes inserts to make the TBAC direct thread. Get both 1/2 x 28 and 5/8 x 24 for like $100 shipped. They work like a charm.

Thanks to all who responded. Opinions vary from suppliers. A few have told me that the optimum internal dimension is twenty thousandths over bullet diameter. Most are in agreement with what members here are posting. With a barrel diameter of 1.25" and a thought for esthetics, I am looking at the Kaw Valley Precision (KVP) 3.25" long Magnum unit. It can be had in either black nitride or stainless finish.

One more question for you all. Anybody here using one of them? Especially the 6.5mm size.

thanks,

ISS
That's a linear compensator not the same as a suppressor. Not a NFA accessory. Mounts with a crush washer like a flash hider. It will direct some of the muzzle blast down range.

I like the mounting systems. Don't have to worry about thread protectors and such when I take the can off.

Because if like some do and have several different muzzle threads it might make sense. No changing adapters in the can if they were to want to swap. Just take it off and move it in under a minute.

I unscrew mine and move it. I'm sure it takes less than a minute.

Different threads would be a pain. Totally get that part.

I think I will go with the 3.25" Magnum linear by KVP. I talked with the owner, and he pointed out the Ultimate URL guy's findings.

thanks to all here,

Yup. I have 3 cans and 10 guns (that I lost in a boating accident) - I like to move things around and fiddle. Having adapters is nice.

Started with thunderbeast 7, liked it enough I bought more. Recently I’ve been buying Diligent Defense, quality suppressors, they do a god job and one of the best values out there. They also stand behind their product with top shelf customer service at a very attractive price.
