Tooley MBR for short range

I see on the McMillian site that the Tooley MBR is not legal in NBRSA or IBS but what about UBR? I like the looks of the stock for building an unlimited gun (over 13.5 lbs for UBR). What are your thoughts?

I shoot UBR every weekend and the stock is legal but I phrased it incorrectly, just really looking at what you think of the stock itself and how it tracks. Thanks!

Works for me.
Thank you sir for that! What discipline do you shoot? I'm pretty new (third year shooting UBR) and I know this stock weighs about 3.5 lbs so that wouldn't be a problem, I have a BAT B drop port but if it is truly going to be a heavy gun (maybe 20-25 pounds) I might want to look for a larger dia action, heck I don't know.

This reply definitely made me spit my morning coffee out. Please sir, look at the original question you asked, then look at who replied to your question! Talk about a LOL moment.

Mr Dave Tooley, you get the post of the day for sure!

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I've always wondered and haven't found it through casual browsing. Why the difference in short and long-range stocks as it pertains to rules? Does one offer an advantage over the other for short-range? I understand long-range flat rear stock as tracking is concerned but not visa versa. TIA

Oh I know who it was and love the look of the stock and think it would work great for what I want, I don't shoot NBRSA or IBS but just wanted to know if anyone had tried it in MY discipline. I certainly appreciate him taking the time to answer me for sure!! :)
