Just got home from the range. Spent six hours of quality time with a few rifles. One of my favorite things to do before coming home is to scrounge for usable once fired range brass in the containers at our facility. Found a bonanza of '06....Creedmoor.....308 .....7mag. These big unfamiliar cases stood out. There was exactly twenty tossed in the scrap barrel. About 14 had .225 dia. enlarged pockets. Plenty of high pressure signs on the head. The diameter of the belt ranges .437-.440

I would have fired one or two before stopping, someone fired the whole box of twenty! ???

Know a fellow that shoots a 300 Jarrett and says he gets 3,700 fps from 165 gr. bullets. Thought he was crazy. Still think he is as he shot at the range a couple weeks ago. About cleared off the firing line with that muzzle blast through his brake. I mean it goes off and "feels" like a 50 cal.

Nuts to that. Think your shooter must be related by the desire to have the most powerful 30 cal. --- no matter what.
