Too Many Guns?

While in Delaware, we had dinner with one of my wife’s old friends. Somehow, the conversation turned to the Uvalde shooting. The gal said “This has to stop! Do you know you can buy an Uzi on the Internet!??!” I tried to explain the actual process of an FFL transfer but the logic was lost on the emotional women. I finally looked at her and said “Do you know you can buy a young slave girl on the Internet?” She didn’t get it.
That is what is wrong with too many people today… they make decisions and base their actions on emotion as opposed to fact… bet she wears a mask everywhere as well…

Exactly. I was taught to think and analyze. Don’t make important decisions when you’re angry, sad or afraid. Settle your emotions, clear your head and THINK!
These days, they keep asking “How do you feel?”

Well, there were about 400 guns on the scene in Uvalde and no one could make the decision to go in and stop the killing. Not law enforcement's best day in South Texas.
True for sure. Our County law screwed up here as well about 5 years ago. I reported a car parked in my field and the subsequent finding of a jail bracelet ripped off and laying on the ground near a 20 acre pine tree woods. Upon investigation a search was formed that needlessly got delayed through stupidity. Locals were not informed and even told that the search was for a lost turkey hunter. Three very good salt of the earth older people wound up murdered by a druggie from a big city probably 75 miles from here. So lessons were learned and the recent situation was handled properly. I hope lessons have been learned from Uvalde. I back the Blue.

I really appreciate you sharing this story and please keep us informed with any
further details that might come out.
Again, best wishes to you and your family and any others involved.
