If that baby shoots as good as it looks , the rest of us will be competing for 2nd place .I was already headed to the range when it showed up, my gun had been sitting on bench 2 all day, trying to get tuned for South Dakota next week so I screwed on a barrel that had 6rds left from a match, shot three in the berm to zero at 600, three on paper, just had to!!! forgot to tighten the rudder, didn’t figure that out until I was back in the shop, thought it tracked lil weird, lol
I’ll take time tomorrow to get everything straight with it, it turned out awesome View attachment 1688527
@Tom E newest build done be Zack Donovant of Old Dominion Custom Rifles.
I knew The 5X LRBR stock cut by @Webb5X, Zebra and Wenge was in the works but had no idea when it'd be done being built until Zack reached out on Monday of last week, brother gave me the details that Tom had 600 Freedom match in South Dakota the end of this month, and 1000 yard nationals towards end of September the following month.
Let's do it!
With a next day air label I had the stock on Wednesday last week, immediately getting it unwrapped I had epoxy with wine pearl in the logos and primer sprayed the next day.
The long and short of it is, it was Wheels up yesterday for delivery today.
Bat Maverick, Steelman 2" rudder, custom damascus escunshion and butt plate, sorry no pictures of the butt plate or assembled stock, cuz I was feeling the preasure of gettin it back to Tom in time to screw it together and getting to tuning.
We appreciate you @Tom E and Sarah for all y'all do for the entire shooing community, shoot small and keep'm centered!!View attachment 1688381View attachment 1688383View attachment 1688384View attachment 1688385View attachment 1688386View attachment 1688387
