I never realized it took me 30 minutes to simply explain how benchrest works, lol.

Yep. You got it bad! Reminds me of years ago when my brother and I were "heavy" into metal detecting. No matter the weather we were out there.

Not enough. He needs to buy more barrels too. Joking aside, a lot of people think that all BR shooters go through a pile of barrels to find the best ones. Thats not too common in LR. But it probably should be with what it takes to be competitive now.

It's not consistent year to year, I guess it depends what I'm testing in the off season. Just getting a couple tuned and competing, I probably use maybe 1000ish. It really adds up in the off season when something has my interest for sure.

Well @tom , I understood exactly everything you said.

For the rest of you, I am one of those guys Tom has helped become competitive. The amount of time that he has taken to help me alone has been very significant, and I am not the only one he helps.

This is one of the things I like about LRBR. Everyone helps each other and roots for each other while at the same time trying to beat each other.

It also made me feel better that he referred to afternoons as a shit show.
