To pretty to shoot

A lot of them have really good looking fur, but still get shot:

Thick, deep fur on this one:

This one was pretty big, 60" tip of nose to tip of tail:

A man should be allowed to kill one wife in his life however it can't go unpunished, $500 and two weekends in jail ought to settle the debt to society. ;)
As for the Yote, kill'em all!

That stance in front of me would of had it dropped on the spot!
Nice colors I agree, but a dead coyote is much better.

Mr aren't you being a little harsh on the male ? Yall have a good weekend

We are at a point where the parasites out number the very host they are feeding on

Could we not replace the jail time with community service, maybe something like picking up trash along the highway for a weekend or two.,, doing it in good weather ofcourse, no rain, snow or extreme temperature.

Confessions of an avid varmint hunter:

I've shot over 1,200 ground hogs, endeavoring never to shoot anything under 100 yards and while I'm addicted to hunting varmints and will continue to do it as long as I can breathe - I don't enjoy killing them. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's the hunting - stalking - challenge of the shot under field conditions that drives me, not the killing. I've shot my fair share of foxes and some coyotes and feel the same although I've never hestitate to drop the hammer on them. So understand how a hunter might feel about "to pretty to shoot" when it comes to any wild life. Perhaps I'm getting soft in my old age; :( yet nothing quite matches the thrill, at least for me, of making a challenging stalk or shot - just love it - can't get enough of it! :)

PS: I do think groundhogs are cute. ;D of course my farmer friends hate them.

I had a farm back east, and shot my share of G hogs.
I never counted them but when i went to some horse farms where no one was
allowed to hunt except myself, then 10 in an afternoon was the norm.
I did not shoot them till the young were out and on there own.
If they would just dig there holes in the woods edge instead of the middle of the hay/soybean fields and pastures they would live a lot longer.

They say you can get 100 bucks for a nice yote hide like the one in the pic.
That would help pay for my shooting/gun habit so maybe next time he wont be to pretty

Thought the same of my ex wife, but later regretted I didn't ;)

Now, shooting a wife, or soon to be ex, just isn't proper.

Pay the damn divorce attorney, man up that she gets more than her fair share and, let her go.

Now, the good part. She will end up with the guy she's been sleeping with while still professing her love to you. Six to Eighteen months after the divorce she will call, crying and about on her 6th drink, admitting her mistake of taking you for granted and the home you provided. She will admit that she never tried to put a decent meal on the table and, that she now realizes that the house needs cleaning more than spring and fall. She may even mention that you deserve to have clean cloths (since you bought her the fancy washer and dryer she had to have) and she might even promis to use the machines more than once a month.

The best thing to do is tell her you will think about it, that you need time to reflect and, that you will call her back.

Buy the local paper; within 48 hours you will find in the (court reporter section) that she had her boyfriend arrested for domestic abuse and, if you check with the local court, she has several collection accounts and one or two bad checks and court dates to address the matters.

Don't take hers calls for seven days. On the eight day, take her call, let her blabber for 15-20 minutes about how much she misses you then, tell her that you thought about her proposal, that you discussed it with your new girlfriend and, you think it's best to say goodbye (please never call me again) because for the first time in your life you are living very well and, you never knew what happiness was.

In short, she will wish she was dead and, she will suffer far more than a quick bullet. The moral of the story; the best revenge is to live well. Nothing, nothing will drive then crazier.

Why should a man have a debt to society for making the world a better place to live?

I must agree totally on this comment. I am 39 years young and never thought i would loose the thrill of the kill but as time goes on it is not pleasurable as it once was. I did some scouting for our upcoming black bear season today and i checked a spot where i harvested a bear several years back and while i was there i couldnt stop thinking and hearing that bears death cry echoing thru the swamp. But as you state its all about the stalk and placing the shot just.
