To clean or not to clean dasher?

I run a very tight non turn neck on my Dasher. But when measuring the COAL on a clean barrel vs a 150 plus shots, it vary by about .015 in length. So when loading .01 from the lands wit my 70gr BT, after out 25 shots the bullet gets suck in the lands.

I am not one to clean my barrel to death, and frequent cleans on a hunt is not always possible.

Will the carbon ring stay the same for x amount of shots? What is the best way to consistency? The long range guys cleans a lot less. My best groups was shot with 120 shots down the tube..

General cleaning for fouling and copper is one thing, but your asking about keeping the carbon ring at bay, so thats what I will address here.

I will specifically clean in the affected area with Iosso at the 100-120 rd mark. Havent seen a carbon ring buildup issue since, therefore I must be doing something right.

i learned this the hard way...the carbon ring occurs in the CHAMBER, not the bore. if every case fired is EXACTLY the same length, you will have no problem, but if you chamber a case that is .005 inch longer than 20+ cases previously fired , this case's lip will tend to crimp into the bullet since an estalished carbon ring is very hard. the ring grows to the thickness of your cases neck and it's length is the difference between your chamber length and case length. this latter measuremnt can be quite long in factory guns and short in custom ones...which i like since these are easier to get out. my borescope really opened my eyes to what i was missing. i clean the carbon ring after just a few rounds. i measure every chamber with the sinclair chamber plugs and try keeping all brass trimmed.
