TMBR Stock?

Did McMillan make a TMBR pattern stock at one time? On Toms site he says they are made either by Kelblys or McMillan thats what made me wonder. Dis McMillan only make them for him and not for sale to the general public?

Thanks

Call Tom,

He is a great guy, maybe the best stocker in the country.

He will answer all your questions. He also has stocks to sell most of the time. Also, do yourself a favor and
send your action to him to bed. If it is a LR have him glue it and screw it into pillar blocks.

You can not go wrong with Tom.

I cant send my Action to Tom as I am in Canada. Im not even sure if he can send a stock to me. I know McMillan can but im not sure if thats because they have a specific license or not.

Ive already got the barreled action setup with a traditional .250 recoil lug .

when you talk to tom, ask him about the difference in the kelblys and mcm. there is a difference but I don't remember what it was. good luck:)

I got in touch with Kelblys and they will sell to Canadians and do rough inletting for Borden actions. My question is how different is the process of installing the pillars and inletting the recoil lug and trigger guard in these stocks compared to a wood stock? Do I have to worry about breaking into a void or are they a solid fill? Also the bolt slot and port need to be cut what is recommended for cutting that?

Thanks
