Titanium Rem 700 work-up @ DOME

Junebug and Shayne came over to the DOME this afternoon and we shot to 800 yards.
Bug shot a 284 win and a 30 lb 300 Norma Magnum on a Bat action. Shayne shot the Eagle 6 Dasher and I shot a 700 Titanium in 6 Dasher. Junebug helped me work up a load at 100 yards and when I was satisfied with it I took it out to the 800 yd line. I had an Egg out at 800 yd. I took three sighters in on Ole Chuckie and my waterline (elevation) was perfect landing a heart shot on Chuckie Now I moved over to the egg. The egg is recessed behind the plate and you have to get a bullet through the egg shaped hole to hit the egg. This way shrapnel had no chance of breaking the egg.
First three shots stacked vertically half inch from egg hole. Shot #4 the plate did not shake and the egg shell was laying on ground behind plate

birddog, looks like great fun. Your Dasher dome stories have inspired me. Started searching for my own piece of land. Already got a name the Yooper dome. Hope to have it in place in the next 2 to 3 years. Hopefully some day I will be able to post my own pictures of my adventures. Really enjoy your reports.

Today Sam Moore, Steve Perry (Scottsville, Ky), and Shayne came over. I was loading on the range for the Titanium 700. After I fireformed 15 more pieces of new brass, I started shooting them a second time. I took a few sighters and then I went to the 800 yard EGG rack. Two eggs were hanging out there in wire baskets.
I cut the wire holding the first egg dropping it to the ground. I went to the other egg and one the second shot it exploded. Two consecutive days the Titanium got a the 800 yard EGG
